Sitting in stillness
The morning dim of almost
Rising sun, calls me.
I respond, soft voice
Audible to planet, cats
Yet nothing else stirs
We wait for the sound
Of the first bird to come in
Through the window then
Turn and open all the doors
Sitting in stillness
The morning dim of almost
Rising sun, calls me.
I respond, soft voice
Audible to planet, cats
Yet nothing else stirs
We wait for the sound
Of the first bird to come in
Through the window then
Turn and open all the doors
Under the sunshine or in the fog: I am a lover, a writer, an editor, a cook, a humanitarian and a photographer.

Cat Over Clock:
Some things are more important than time ... cats are one of them. Welcome to a world of photographed shadows--I invite you to a study of compassion through poetry. It is with gratitude that you might take it with you.
