Fluffy little snow flakes
Came falling on the roof
Crystals of water painting
The whole world white
Out came the sun
And water soon to flow
And the fluffy little snow flakes
Took over the kitchen

Cat Over Clock:
Some things are more important than time … cats are one of them. Welcome to a world of photographed shadows–I invite you to a study of compassion through poetry. It is with gratitude that you might take it with you.

Gotcha thanks! “I recently put together my first collection of poetry (Another Square) and sent it out behind the hopes that someday it will get picked up.”
I suppose the wording needs tweeked a little. As I send it out to contests or with query letters to editors, I am hoping that one of them will read, enjoy and desire to publish it… I should add “get picked up by an editor or publishing company” or something more to my bio. Thank you for bringing that to my attention.
