Paws over the sides of the tub
Cat covets water
I don’t deny pleasures and
Wind into the rock collection
Deeper and deeper
I grasp at forms but they slide by ten fingertips
I miss a large world
Of letters
The words explode as they touch the candle light
Leaving great sadness
Wide open I hold this book
Ward off the neighboring evil
With my palms pressed
Draw upon the star and sing
For a future of grace and giving
When the 13 unite
Peace will be our fate
Wayward for a million years
Finally still, one breath at a time
Arrives love
In a basket you may carry your books
Passing them out upon the beach
Mountains may pass beneath your feet
Return again to the tunnel
Again and again
In a basket
Arrives love
