Thank you, Ann, for the book, October Song, by poet Vargus Pike.

In my past I have also sought to accomplish a poem a day in October and in April, and have started to read Pike’s book today as inspiration and motivation to keep on track this October. The featured poet has written four books based on the style of one poem per day. January Song, April Song, July Song  and October Song.  I look forward to publishing here in his footsteps for October, the adventure will lack the polish and revision that he has spoken of, but I will shadow him a little by writing in the morning and trying to guide what comes out into something lovely by midnight.

I wish you all happy writing this month as the shift into autumn fills your souls.
